They are well written and have a solid story line. But, why are the main characters so achingly needy. Meaning, all they require for a "happily ever after" is a big, confident, strong, masculine man to tell them what to do. Oh, our heroes get to make a snarky comment or two and show a bit of rebellion early on, but it is obvious that they are just waiting to be controlled by the man of their dreams. In Every Book.In Anything For You, Jason Miller is a closeted ad exec falling for an out gay activist/college professor. Jason is set up and secretly drugged by friends at the couple's initial meeting so he doesn't misbehave. Yet, Jason takes the blame and apologizes to said friends for his drugged behavior. Naturally, Jason falls for the man who witnesses his embarrassment. Then, when outed publicly and used as an example of a closeted gay man to an audience of students by his new boyfriend, Jason again excepts that he is to blame for Chad's lousy actions. Really?? Jason is the character who needs redeeming?? Our couple naturally find their happily ever after once Jason falls in line and comes out to one and all.

Anything for You edition by Ethan Day Literature Fiction eBooks Reviews
A Scattered Thoughts and Rogue Words Review (A Kai Review)
Rating 3,5 stars out of 5
Jason Miller was still in the closet and didn’t see himself coming out anytime soon (or ever). He was accommodated with his situation and just the thought of what his parents, sister, and co-workers could say about his sexuality put him hiding everything he was from almost everybody.
He had never found a reason to kick the door open, walk into the light of day, and tell the world he was gay. At least that’s what he kept telling himself — along with a multitude of other solid arguments.
When Jason met Chad Wellington, an ex gay-rights activist/coming out guru, he was immediately attracted. Chad was the one thing Jason never saw coming and like a moth to a flame, these two opposites ignited. Jason didn’t count with the feelings he started to have for Chad. He was in love for the first time. How could he give up on it? But Chad wouldn’t hide forever, so would he man up and coming out? Would he do it for Chad?
Well, guys, I started hating Jason in this book. He was a nonsense bitch guy. I didn’t pick up on the the real reason he was in the closet. I mean, his sister was an out and proud lesbian and his parents loved her anyway. So, what was his problem? He was a coward. And the worse was that he bitched at gay couples who were out, just because he wasn’t. Can you understand that? I know he was jealous, but it was irrational and even he knew it.
Thankfully after he met Chad he grew a little on me. He was yet a coward, but he was also funny and became nicer through the book.
I loved Chad and his power. He knew what he wanted and he wasn’t shy about it.
When they first met I didn’t buy their connection. I felt like it had happened too fast. But along the story, I started cheering for them and connecting with them. Plus seeing them fighting for their relationship was great.
The story was centered around the coming out question and how it can affect a relationship. I liked how it was written fluid and with humor. I loved the funny parts, and I literally laugh out loud reading it.
Well, the only thing I really didn’t like about this book was how fast paced it was. I mean, it could have been more elaborate and a little more lengthy. I just wanted more. Lol
This book was a light, funny, and quick reading. It didn’t wow me or anything, but I really enjoyed it.
I have read Sno Ho and the sequel Life in Fusion by Ethan Day and enjoyed them so when I saw this book was out and needed a laugh I didn't hesitate to buy it.This is just what I needed for a pick me up. I love Ethans humor in his characters. I will continue to read and enjoy his books.Definitely recommended for a good laugh.
Great book, that is enough to have to rate a product. Should be easier to rate a product. Ha Ha
I love anything Ethan Day pens! His books make me laugh out loud 'til I pee my pants. Anything for You is no exception. You'll love discovering how Chad "coxes" (more like cattle prods) Jason out of his closet. Fun Read.
This book was heavy on the story and light on the sex which I thought was good given that I do a lot of reading and after a while the sex scenes all sound the same. I loved the characters and their sense of humor.
One of Day's best books! and he has some very good ones. This book is so good in so many ways. Story line and all the people that come alive on the page. You can read the other reviews if you need to know the story line .. I didn't it was Day's book so I just it. Have fun reading this book it is a page turner.
Look, I love Ethan Day and his books always seem to follow a pattern--closeted MC, open MC, strong woman or women who are more likely to push them together than either of them making a move. This one is very much in that vein except that one of the MC's, Jason, needs to get a life. Other than that, it's pretty good.
